Latest update: The annual T20 Charity Cricket Match is now not able to go ahead. The impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) across Australia continues to be felt and it is for this reason that the College is undertaking new measures of management to best protect students and staff.
The annual T20 Charity Cricket Match is on again! This year, our 1st XI cricket team will face off against a celebrity team of indigenous cricketers in what is sure to be a thrilling match.
The aim of the game is to raise funds in support of Redfern Jarjum College (RJC), a Jesuit primary school committed to improving the welfare and education of indigenous children and the community around Redfern. The money raised this year will go toward their medical support program, providing all students and their families with access to a qualified paediatrician for much-needed medical care and treatment.
You can also help support RJC and indigenous education through one of the following initiatives:

ABOUT JARJUM COLLEGE
Redfern Jarjum College’s mission is to educate urban Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who are not participating or coping in mainstream educational settings as a result of their domestic circumstances. The school serves boys and girls aged between 4 and 13 from Kindergarten to Year 6 and fees are not charged for tuition. The school aims to, among other things, alleviate the social, emotional, behavioural and health disadvantages of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children so that they can return to mainstream schooling, and to provide opportunities for them to pursue secondary education. Jarjum offers an alternative to mainstream primary schooling, with an emphasis on providing a cultural education program through which students can explore and develop strength in their own cultural identity.
