You may apply for a place at the College for your son any time from birth until September 1st when your son is in year 1, for a year 5 entry, and September 1st when your son is in year 3, for a year 7 entry. When considering applicants for enrolment, priority is given, though no placement is guaranteed, to the following in order of priority:
Each application assessment takes into account the student’s spiritual, academic, social and physical development, but no criterion is taken in isolation. The College considers the ‘whole person’ and selects applicants who appear best suited to the holistic schooling offered at the College.
Regis, our Junior Campus, houses our Year 5 and 6 students. Life for students at Regis is energising, engaging, rewarding and challenging. The Regis experience facilitates opportunities for students to become active in their faith formation, well-rounded, creative and ambitious young men.
Our mission is to provide a well-rounded education for young men that inspires them to a lifelong development of their faith. This means they will seek understanding, strive for justice and commit to the service of others with discernment, conscience and courage.
Our Boarding students overwhelmingly tell the story of becoming part of a large family when they join boarding at Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview. We strive to develop young men of competence, conscience and compassion, striving always for excellence in all they do.
Since the College was founded in 1880, we have had a financially-needs based Bursary Program. The Bursary program enables young men, from all walks of life, to receive a Jesuit education.
The College actively commits to redressing the inequalities of access and educational outcomes by supporting First Nations students to their highest potential through the First Nations Program.
The College acknowledges and embraces the depth of culture and identity brought to us by the First Nations students and their families.
The SEIP (Special Education Inclusion Program) accommodates students with intellectual disabilities, offering mainstream integration opportunities based on the needs of the individual student.

Since the College was founded in 1880, the Bursary Program has extended the gift of a Jesuit education to families who otherwise may not have the means. The program is funded thanks to the generosity of donors and equips students with the skills and abilities to flourish at the College and beyond.
